Overview
This project involved a transformation of the outdoor spaces at two adjacent properties, delivering both functionality and visual appeal across multiple landscape elements. Beginning with careful site clearance, surface excavation, and garden preparation, our team cleared trees, levelled formations, and creatively reused on-site stones to form retaining features, ensuring both practical and aesthetic outcomes.
The landscape design incorporated a mix of exposed aggregate and coloured concrete areas, granite paving, and cantilevered channel drains, combining durability with a visually striking finish. Detailed workmanship included reinforced masonry walls, acid-washed and sealed surfaces, and decorative expansion cuts to create seamless integration with existing elements.
Connectivity and access were enhanced with asphalt crossings and kerb modifications, complemented by Macrocarpa steps, planter boxes, and timber edging to define pathways and garden zones. Decorative chip areas and garden beds were carefully prepared and layered with high-quality compost, creating a fertile base for planting and completing the layered landscape palette.
Functional installations included an automatic irrigation system with WiFi control, clotheslines, and custom timber fencing, ensuring the landscape was not only visually cohesive but also practical and low-maintenance for residents. Additional bespoke features, such as greenhouse footings and reinforced shed foundations, were included to accommodate lifestyle needs.
The result is a fully realised landscape that balances elegance, functionality, and durability—transforming both properties into cohesive, inviting outdoor environments designed for everyday living and entertaining.
